First Communion Preparation

FIRST COMMUNION 2010: The children on their jounrey towards First Communion this summer begin to look at the scriptures as part of our faith. They will be presented, this Sunday – 7th March – with a copy of the Bible as reminder to them that it is God who reveals himself through his WORD. Through his Word, God calls us, guides us, fashions and forms us, instructs us and leads us ever closer to him. The Bible is given to reminder us that God’s word is ever near to us and that through our reading and our reflection we come to a deeper knowledge and a greater awareness of his love in our lives. Do keep the children in your prayers.
