Parish Bazaar

17 May 2014

This year’s bazaar is set to be a corker! Its the most significan fundraising event in our parish’s social calendar and one event that we hope draws in folk from all around. There’s usually something for everyone, and this year is no exception. The Grand Draw (with cash prizes of £200, £100, and £50) will be drawn at 2.30pm. Doors open at 12noon and we close at 3pm. Entrance is by programme at a cost of 50p.

Please come along and support the bazaar. We’re trying to raise a little money to make our much needed face-lift to our buildings possible. The Church is 46 years old and needs so looking after, sadly. Whatever we raise pushes us in the right direction of help this parish community get a little closer to making its vision possible. Looking forward to seeing you here at St Bernadette’s on Saturday 17 May.

We have:

Gifts and Fancy Goods

Home baked goods and cakes

Home made preserves and jams

Plants fresh from the allotment

Toys and books

Then, of course, there’s…

The Mighty Bottle Stall

Splat the Rat

Irish Coffees (from the Little Sisters of the Poor…a very generous dash of ‘Irish’)

Face Painting

The Italian Magician

Teas and Refreshments

BBQ Hot Dogs

Cream Teas.
