In Mary’s hands

In Mary’s hands

During Mass yesterday, our smallest child maneuvered herself under my arm and, joining her hands, put them within mine (she kindly modelled, later, for the camera).  She whispered to me, ‘look, Mummy, my prayers are inside your prayers.’

This reminded me of our relationship with Mary.  Being full of grace, in the depths of Divine intimacy, she is always to be found in prayer and she always welcomes her children to come and join their prayers with hers.  When we pray with Mary, we enter into Mary’s mantle, where she adores and cherishes her Son.  When we pray with Mary, we see more clearly how she sees and love more dearly as she loves.

That’s beautiful, Jane. God bless her.

  2. Jane says:

    Thank you, Lyndsey.
